They are only 3 ingredients in this retro-style pre-dinner drink, but these 3 products are made with more than 100 different botanicals; just think about this to imagine the great aromatic complexity and the wealth of scents released by spices, flowers, roots and herbs. Among them are distinct, fresh notes of mint, dill and melissa, but also enveloping hints of honey and ginger. At the heart of this cocktail lies Bitter, Negroni Antica Distilleria, 25% abv, a classic bitter-sweet Italian aperitif, winner of the silver medal at the International Spirits Award 2016, with a full flavour and bright ruby red colour, with strong aromas of gentian, china and citrus. The taste is bold on the palate; it is initially dominated by a fresh citrus note, and then releases the bittering properties of the herbal mix, with gentian root standing out in particular.
