Negroni
OLD DISTILLERY
Negroni Antica Distilleria is located in the heart of the "Marca Trevigiana" (the march of Treviso), encompassed within lands that have been dedicated to winemaking for many centuries. Founded by cavaliere Guglielmo Negroni, it soon acquired fame through his grappas and liqueurs.
It is a tradition that continues to this day: ever in search of the best raw materials in order to obtain high-quality, traditionally crafted products.
THE FAMILY
Giancarlo Palla’s passion for wine making began in the 1960s on a farm in the south of the Treviso province, and soon became something of real size when, in 1973, Count Piero Loredan decided to transfer to him a beautiful estate in Venegazzù that had always been ideal for the production of top quality wine, including the legendary Capo di Stato.
Nowadays Venegazzù Vini S.p.A. is a leader in the production and distribution of wine, grappa and spirits. Over the years, the company has extended its product range by taking over various other producers.
After taking over Azienda Agricola Loredan Gasparini, the Palla family became the owner of Negroni Antica Distilleria, famous for its aperitifs and grappa and, later, Casa Bianca Spumanti in Giavera del Montello, which produces the noble Prosecco Superiore di Valdobbiadene.
Then in 2001, Giancarlo Alberto and Lorenzo Palla took over Azienda Agricola Ronco Blanchis in Collio, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, which boasts an impressive collaboration with Gianni Menotti, one of the most expert and famous Italian oenologists.
Venegazzù Vini S.p.A. now distributes 40% of its products to the Italian market and 60% abroad, working in more than 30 countries around the world.
